The OL 770-LED - High Speed LED Measurement System for Light Emitting Diodes
Software | Measurement Accessories | Information Request
Optronic Laboratories' NEW LEDMeasurement System is a high-speed, multichannel spectroradiometer capable of over 25 spectroradiometric scans per second. Unlike stand-alone radiometers and photometers currently available for individual measurements, the OL 770-LED performs all critical measurements of LED components including optical power, color and goniometric measurements. The OL 770-LED was designed in accordance with and is fully compliant to CIE Publication 127 Condition A and Condition B.
The OL770-LED is a highly accurate, high-speed LED measurement tool, developed to meet the needs of R&D, Production and Quality Assurance. It provides research-grade test and measurements but was designed using economies derived from all disciplines of hardware, firmware and software. Typical measurements provided by the OL770-LED Measurement System are:
- Total Radiant Flux (Watts)
- Total Luminous Flux (lumens)
- Total Spectral Flux (Watts/nm)
- Total Power (Watts)
- Dominant Wavelength
- Spectral Purity
- Correlated Color Temperature
- Peak Wavelength
- Color Rendering Index (CRI)
- ChromaticityCoordinates
- Spatial Radiation Measurements delete
- Half-Bandwidth
- Averaged Luminous Intensity (lumens/sr)
- Averaged Radiant Intesity (Watts/sr)
In addition, each of the following LED measurements can be performed as a function of view angle:
- Maximum intensity
- Chromaticity values
- Tristimulus values
- Lab/Luv values
- CRI
- Relative power
- Peak wavelength
- Dominant wavelength
- Half bandwidth
- Color temperature
- Purity
- Power
Designed by and for LED Professionals, the OL 770-LED features:
- Extremely fast LED measurements. Over 25+ spectral radiometer scans per second.
- High-speed USB interface.
- Windows® compatible software, LabVIEW™ Drivers, SDK and ActiveX™ Controls.
- Ideal where instrument portability is needed.
- Research-grade measurements at a fraction of the cost of bench-bound instruments.
- Fully compliant to CIE Publication 127Conditions A and B.

OL IS-670-LED Integrating Sphere
The OL IS-670-LED provides an accurate means of measuring the total spectral luminous flux and total radiant flux of "forward-looking" LEDs. The OL 770-LED Windows® software provides instant LED measurement data reduction for such quantities as:
- Total Radiant Flux (Watts)
- Total Luminous Flux (lumens)
- Total Spectral Flux (Watts/nm)
- Dominant Wavelength
- Peak Wavelength
- Half-bandwidth
- Color Purity
- Correlated Color Temperature
- Color Rendering Indices
- Chromaticity Coordinates
OL 700-30 Goniometer
The OL 770-LED Windows®-based application software provides complete control of the OL 700-30 goniometer with a comprehensive suite of spatial radiation measurement routines. The OL 700-30 goniometer also features ActiveX™ controls and Software Developers' Kit (SDK) as standard. This enables the instrument to accommodate custom applications as developed by the user, including applications independent of the OL 770-LED.

OL 15AB LED Receptor
The OL 15AB consists of a three part machined aluminum tube with internal baffling. The first part includes a 1 cm˛ aperture, a 1 inch diameter integrating sphere, and the fiber optic connection. This part also includes a short (Condition B) baffle tube. The second part is a longer (Condition A) extension tube. The third part is the removable LED holder. A standard 5 mm diameter (T 1-3/4 size) LED holder is supplied with the OL 15AB, which is interchangeable with other LED accessories such as the OL IS-670-LED Integrating Sphere.
