The OL 731 USB Smart Detector is a low-cost, hand-held radiometer/photometer that can be tailored to the spectral response of the user’s specific application requirements with the use of a range of sensors and filters.

It has a built-in 6 decade preamplifier with automated gain adjustment and a 16 bit ADC, and an onboard microprocessor that communicates with the host computer via a straightforward command set. Several OL 731s can be multiplexed on one Universal Serial Bus.

The OL 731 can be programmed to read in any user-specified radiometric or photometric unit. It is supported by an ActiveX ™ Software Development Kit, and data can automatically be transferred into an MS/Excel worksheet using a built-in report utility. NIST-traceable calibration of the response of each unit can be provided.
