OL Series 750 High Sensitivity Detectors

OL 750-HSD-300 Silicon (AC)

The OL 750-HSD-300 consists of a DSM-1A Synchronous Current Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-300 UV-Enhanced Silicon Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-300 has a dynamic range from 1E-3 to 1E-11 Amps p-p (FS), an effective wavelength range of 200 nm to 1100 nm and a default cut-on wavelength of 200 nm. The valid chopper frequency range for the OL 750-HSD-300 is 10.0 to 250.0 Hz.

OL 750-HSD-301 Silicon (DC)

The OL 750-HSD-301 consists of a DSM-1D High Sensitivity Current Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-300 UV-Enhanced Silicon Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-301 has an effective wavelength range of 200 nm to 1100 nm and a default cut-on wavelength of 200 nm. The OL 750-HSD-301 has a dynamic range from 1E-4 to 1E-10 Amps DC (FS) and extending to 1E-12 Amps DC (FS) when used in the super high sensitivity mode.

Super high sensitivity mode measurements can only be made when using the DH-300 Silicon Detector Head. Super high sensitivity mode measurements include the 1E-11 and 1E-12 Amps DC (FS) signal levels which have individually configured response times.

OL 750-HSD-302 Dual Si/PbS (AC)

The OL 750-HSD-302 consists of a DSM-4 Dual Synchronous Current Mode Amplifier integrated with a Voltage Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-302 Two Color Si/PbS Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-302 has an effective wavelength range of 280 nm to 3200 nm.

One portion of the OL 750-HSD-302 is a synchronous current mode amplifier and a silicon detector with an effective wavelength range of 280 nm to 1100 nm and a default cut-on wavelength of 280 nm. The Si portion of the OL 750-HSD-302 has a dynamic range from 1E-3 to 1E-11 Amps p-p(FS). The valid chopper frequency range is 10.0 to 350.0 Hz.

The other portion of the OL 750-HSD-302 is a voltage mode amplifier with a lead sulfide detector with an effective wavelength range of 1000 nm to 3200 nm and a default cut-on wavelength of 1000 nm. The PbS portion of the OL 750-HSD-302 has a dynamic range from 1E+1 to 1E-4 Volts p-p (FS). The valid chopper frequency range is 10.0 to 350.0 Hz.

OL 750-HSD-304 Dual Si/Ge (AC)

The OL 750-HSD-304 consists of a DSM-5 Dual Synchronous Current Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-304 Two Color Si/Ge Detector Head with an effective wavelength range of 280 nm to 1800 nm.

OL 750-HSD-306 Dual Si/PbS (AC)

The voltage can be increased or decreased accordingly to measure extremely low or high signals. It is recommended that the voltage not be set below 500 Volts due to potential non-linear operation. The valid chopper frequency range for the OL 750-HSD-312 is 10.0 to 350.0 Hz.

OL 750-HSD-313 PMT (Solar Blind) (DC)

The OL 750-HSD-313 consists of a DSM-1D High Sensitivity Current Mode Amplifier Module with a DH-312 PMT (Solar Blind) Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-313 has a dynamic range from 1E-4 to 1E-10 Amps DC (FS), an effective wavelength range of 160 nm to 320 nm. The PMT voltage may range from 200 to 1100 Volts with a default of 600.0 Volts. The voltage can be increased or decreased accordingly to measure extremely low or high signals.

OL 750-HSD-315 PMT (Photon Counting Only)

The OL 750-HSD-315 consists of a DSM-6 Amplifier/Discriminator-Current to Frequency Converter Module with a DH-315 PMT (Photon Counting) Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-315 has a dynamic range from 1 cps to 1E+6 cps (counts per second), an effective wavelength range of 200 nm to 800 nm and a default cut-on wavelength of 200 nm. The PMT voltage may range from 200 to 1100 Volts. The voltage can be increased or decreased accordingly to measure extremely low or high signals.

OL 750-HSD-316 PMT (Solar Blind) (Photon Counting Only)

The OL 750-HSD-316 consists of a DSM-6 Amplifier/Discriminator-Current to Frequency Converter Module with a DH-316 PMT (Solar Blind) (Photon Counting) Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-316 has a dynamic range from 1 cps to 1E+6 cps (counts per second), an effective wavelength range of 160 nm to 320 nm. The PMT voltage may range from 200 to 1100 Volts with a default of approximately 800.0 Volts. The voltage can be increased or decreased accordingly to measure extremely low or high signals.

OL 750-HSD-318 GaAs PMT (AC)

The OL 750-HSD-318 consists of a DSM-1A Synchronous Current Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-318 Thermoelectrically Cooled GaAs PMT Detector Head. The DH-318 detector head incorporates a high gain, low noise Gallium Arsenide PMT that has a dynamic range from 1.000 x 10-11 to 0.999 x 10-7 Amps p-p (FS), and yields a spectral response from 185 nm to 930 nm. The thermoelectric cooler is capable of operating the PMT at a temperature 40EC below ambient temperature. The PMT voltage can be varied from 400 to 1500 Volts, with a default of 1250 Volts. The valid chopper frequency range for the OL 750-HSD-318 is 10.0 to 350.0 Hz. The voltage can be increased or decreased accordingly to measure extremely high or low signal levels.

External MHV and BNC signal connectors are provided with the PMT. A 10-foot long, high voltage cable is used to connect the DH-318 to the high voltage connector on the OL 750-C Controller rear panel. The OL 750-610 adapter is mounted to the DSM-1A and provides an input for the DH-318 BNC signal output. The DH-318 detector uses a threaded ring mounting system to provide a quick means of mating the detector head to the monochromator.

OL 750-HSD-319 GaAs PMT (DC)

The OL 750-HSD-319 consists of a DSM-1D High Sensitivity Current Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-318 Thermoelectrically Cooled GaAs PMT Detector Head. The DH-318 incorporates a high gain, low noise Gallium Arsenide PMT that has a dynamic range from 1.000 x 10-11 to 0.999 x 10-7 Amps DC (FS), and produces a spectral response from 185 nm to 930 nm. The thermoelectric cooler is capable of operating the PMT at a temperature 40EC below ambient temperature. The PMT voltage can be varied from 400 to 1500 Volts. The voltage can be increased or decreased accordingly to measure extremely high or low signal levels.

External MHV and BNC signal connectors are provided with the PMT. A 10-foot long, high voltage cable is used to connect the DH-318 to the high voltage connector on the OL 750-C Controller rear panel. The OL 750-610 adapter is mounted to the DSM-1D and provides an input for the DH-318 BNC signal output. The OL 750-HSD-321 consists of a DSM-1D High Sensitivity Current Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-320 Germanium Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-321 has a dynamic range from 1E-4 to 1E-10 Amps DC (FS), an effective wavelength range of 800 nm to 1800 nm.

OL 750-HSD-330 InGaAs (AC)

The OL 750-HSD-330 consists of a DSM-1A Synchronous Current Mode Amplifier Module and a DH-330 InGaAs Detector Head. The OL 750-HSD-330 has a dynamic range from 1E-3 to 1E-11 Amps p-p (FS), an effective wavelength range of 800 nm to 1700 nm.
