The OL Series 750 Spectroradiometer can be configured for automated measurements of the spectral output of radiating sources such as:
- Arc Lamps
- Solar Radiation
- Pulsed Sources
- Laser Diodes
- Flashlamps
- Low Light Level
- Solar Simulators
- Tungsten Lamps
- Growth Chambers
- Blackbody Sources
- Sphere Sources
- Star Simulators
- LEDs
- Fluorescent
- Lamps Sources
Source spectral analysis covers a broad range of spectroradiometric measurements. For continuous or DC sources, this includes spectral irradiance, radiance, power and intensity. Corresponding quantities for pulsed or AC sources involve the measurement of energy. Once a spectroradiometric parameter has been measured, the photometric and colorimetric quantities can be computed.
It is extremely important that the spectroradiometric measurement system have the appropriate input optics and that the system is properly calibrated using the correct standard. A wide selection of input optics and calibration standards is available for use with the OL Series 750 Spectroradiometer. The input optics accessories include integrating spheres for measuring spectral irradiance or power, reflex telescopes for sources at large distances, reflex microscopes for measuring spectral radiance of very small sources, 1:1 imaging optics for routine measurements of spectral radiance, etc. Once the spectral output of the source has been measured, the OL 750-423 Source Spectral Analysis Application Software can compute the:
- Photometric & Radiometric Output
- Color Temperature
- Peak Wavelength
- Dominant Wavelength
- Color Rendering Indices
- Half Bandwidth
- Chromaticity, LAB, LUV
In addition to the powerful built-in data reduction utilities of the OL 750-423 Source Spectral Analysis Application Software, an Export to Excel feature allows data to be sent to custom built Excel templates for calculations and customized report generation.
